Oatstraw (Avena sativa)—Bulk laxative, mineralizer, and nerve tonic properties. Oatstraw is classified as a nervine and helps calm down the central nervous system. It’s best at promoting a sense of relaxation. Oatstraw is similar to horsetail, as it is abundant in silica and an outstanding herb for strengthening skin, connective tissue, nerve fibers, and mucous membranes. This herb is perfect for people who are suffering from illness, overwhelm or exhaustion, as it is a fantastic remedy for strengthening the entirety of the physical body. Additionally, if you’re looking for an herb that is packed with vitamins and trace minerals, oatstraw is one of the best herbs you can use.

Linden (Tilia spp.)—Antispasmodic, hypotensive, nervine, and relaxant properties. Linden is a very pleasant-tasting herbal tea and is a comforting nervine that reduces tension and lowers blood pressure. It can also be helpful for headaches. Medicinally, linden is best for adults who are overworked or under high levels of stress, as it aids in calming the central nervous system.
